The victim’s handphone was recovered upon the men’s arrest.

The men will be charged in court on 1 June 2022 with voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery under Section 394 of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of five to 20 years and not less than 12 strokes of the cane.
