Police have arrested a 45-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of attempted robbery at Blk 840 Jurong West St 81.
On 25 January 2015 at about 5.50 pm, Police was informed of a case of attempted robbery inside a lift of Blk 840 Jurong West St 81. Through follow up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him at Bukit Purmei on 2 February 2015. He will be charged in Court on 3 February 2015 for the offence of Robbery with Hurt under Section 394 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224. If convicted, he faces an imprisonment term of not less than 5 years and not more than 20 years and shall also be punished with caning with not less than 12 strokes.
