The Police have arrested a 34-year old woman for her suspected involvement in a case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon.
On 17 January 2020 at about 11.10 am, the Police were alerted by the victim that her foreign domestic worker had assaulted her using a knife at her residence along Commonwealth Close.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of CCTV footages, the woman was arrested on the same day at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
The woman will be charged in court on 18 January 2020 with the offence of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon under Section 326 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which is punishable with an imprisonment for life, or for a term which may extend to 15 years, and shall also be liable to a fine or caning.
