The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty along Bukit Batok Ave 6.
On 10 February 2020, the Police was alerted to an incident where a 14-year-old woman was molested by an unknown man at the void deck of a residential block.
Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 15 February 2020.
The man will be charged in court on 17 February 2020. Anyone convicted for outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is liable for a jail term of up to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
