The Police have arrested a 49-year-old man for his suspected involvement in the murder of another 49-year-old man.
On 3 April 2021 at about 10.15am, the Police were alerted to a stabbing case at a residential unit along Bedok Reservoir Road. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man lying motionless in the residential unit. The 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that both men are known to each other.
The 49-year-old man will be charged with murder on 5 April 2021. The offence of murder, punishable under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code, carries the death penalty. Police investigations are ongoing.
