On 8 September 2025, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) will change the access methods for our e-services, and refresh our corporate website. This is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance data protection, as well as provide a more user-friendly online experience for the public.

Change in Access Methods for E-Services

With Singpass and Corppass now widely adopted for digital identification in Singapore, the SPF will be using them as the means of access to our e-services.[1] The only exceptions would be (i) Foreign Identification Number (FIN) for applying and paying for a Certificate of Clearance, and checking the status of the application; and (ii) Foreign Vehicle Number for checking outstanding traffic offences and paying traffic fines; to facilitate the needs of foreigners who do not have Singpass. The list of e-services affected is at Annex.

Individuals and corporate entities who do not have Singpass or Corppass can register for an account directly via the Singpass or Corppass portal. If they are unable to do so, require assistance to access the e-services, or have any other queries, they can contact SPF via the SPF Feedback Portal at www.police.gov.sg/feedback, SPF Feedback Hotline at 1800-358 0000, or visit a police station.

Refreshed Corporate Website

SPF will also be refreshing our corporate website on 8 September 2025. During this period, the SPF Corporate Website will be unavailable on 7 September 2025 from 8pm to 12am, and there may also be intermittent disruptions on 8 September 2025 from 12am to 8am. We apologise for any inconvenience, and thank members of the public for their patience. Should members of the public require any assistance during this period, they can call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.

[1]Currently, individuals and corporate entities can access some of these e-services without Singpass or Corppass.
