Man To Be Charged For Murder

The Police will be charging a 23-year-old man for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 68-year-old man.

On 13 November 2025 at about 12.45pm, the Police received calls for assistance at 5000C Marine Parade Road. Upon Police’s arrival, officers found a 68-year-old injured man at scene. He was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

The 23-year-old man was arrested at scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that the 23-year-old man and 68-year-old man purportedly had a dispute. Two penknives were recovered and seized by the Police.

The man will be charged in court on 15 November 2025 with murder under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code 1871. The offence of murder carries the death penalty. Police investigations are ongoing.
