The Police have arrested two men, aged 26 and 27, for their suspected involvement in two separate cases of rash act.

On 23 March 2026 at about 10.05am, the Police received a call for assistance at Block 363C Sembawang Crescent. Preliminary investigations revealed that a 26-year-old man had allegedly thrown a wooden table down from the fourth floor. The table broke when it hit the ground floor, due to its impact. No injuries were reported.

In a separate incident, the Police received a call for assistance on 24 March 2026 at about 1.30am at Block 363C Sembawang Crescent. Preliminary investigations revealed that a 27-year-old man had allegedly thrown a bicycle down from the eleventh floor.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identities of the men and arrested them on the same day of the report. The table and bicycle were seized as case exhibits.

Both the men will be charged in court on 25 March 2026 with the offence of rash act under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to six months and a fine.
