The Singapore Road Safety Awards (SRSA) & Road Safety Seminar (RSS) 2026 was held on 15 September 2026 at the Civil Service Club, Tessensohn. The event was co-organised by the Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) and Automobile Association of Singapore (AAS), with support from the Traffic Police (TP), Land Transport Authority and Workplace Safety and Health Institute. Ms. Sim Ann, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Home Affairs, graced the event as the Guest-of-Honour.

The SRSA recognises organisations and individuals for their commitment to road safety and efforts to implement effective road safety practices. This year, 42 awards were presented, comprising 12 Excellence Awards and 30 Merit Awards. Please refer to Annex A for the list of award recipients.

Held in conjunction with SRSA, the RSS brought together heavy vehicle fleet operators, industry stakeholders and road safety practitioners to exchange views and share best practices. Topics discussed included policy developments, technological advancements and approaches to strengthening fleet and driver safety.

Speakers from road safety authorities and the industry shared insights into corporate road safety, highlighting the importance of driver safety, proactive fleet management and the adoption of technology to improve safety outcomes.

Superintendent of Police, Lian Weixiong, Head of Research, Planning and Organisational Development Branch, Traffic Police, was among the speakers at the seminar. During his presentation, he highlighted that more than 16,000 lorries had been fitted with speed limiters under the expanded speed limiter regime as of 1 August 2026. Speeding violations involving these lorries fell by 94%, from 384 cases in the first half of 2025 to 23 cases over the corresponding period in 2026. This achievement underscores the value of close collaboration between the Police and the industry partners in enhancing road safety.

SRSC and its partners are committed to promoting road safety through outreach programmes such as the SRSA and RSS. SRSC and TP encourage more organisations to participate in future editions of the awards and recognise employees who contribute to fostering a strong culture of road safety at their workplaces and on Singapore’s roads.
