Public Perception Survey 2026

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) is conducting a public perception survey (PPS) between 18 September and 18 December 2026. The survey aims to understand the public’s sentiments towards safety and security in Singapore and their neighbourhoods, and their perceptions towards the SPF’s effectiveness in carrying out its mission of preventing, deterring and detecting crime.

The SPF has appointed Media Research Consultants Pte Ltd to carry out the survey via face-to-face interviews. Interviewers from Media Research Consultants Pte Ltd will identify themselves by a photo identification card (see below) and an SPF-issued authorisation letter bearing the SPF official letterhead.
