Under the Registration of Criminals Act 1949 (RCA), a criminal record is a record of a conviction or sentence given by the courts to an individual who has been found guilty of committing a registrable offence.
The RCA allows the criminal record of an individual that has been kept in the Register of Criminals to become spent, if the individual has met the qualifying criteria stated within the Act.
Applicant can use this service to check if his/her criminal record for a registrable offence has been rendered as spent.
