Man To Be Charged For Murder

The Police have arrested a 50-year-old man for his alleged involvement in the murder of a 41-year-old man.

On 21 October 2024 at about 5pm, the Police received a call for assistance along Clementi Avenue 4. Upon Police’s arrival, officers found a 41-year-old man lying unconscious at the void deck. He was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away. A 50-year-old man was arrested at scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that both parties are known to each other.

The man will be charged in court on 23 October 2024 with murder under Section 302(1) Penal Code 1871. The offence of murder carries the death penalty. Police investigations are ongoing.
