Update On 1MDB-Related Seized And Prohibited Assets

In response to media queries, between August 2024 and April 2025, Singapore authorities have obtained further court orders to release about S$20 million of the seized 1MDB-related monies to the Malaysian government. To-date, a total of about S$124 million of seized 1MDB-related monies have been repatriated to Malaysia.

All requests for repatriation of assets seized pursuant to investigations into 1MDB-related fund flows have been, and will continue to be, dealt with in accordance with Singapore’s legal framework.
