Over two days on 8 and 9 November 2025, Toa Payoh Hub played host to bustling crowds as curious bystanders learnt more about what it takes to combat scams. Visitors were there to participate in the inaugural National Anti-Scam Roadshow, which had as its theme “We Can ACT Against Scams.”
The Roadshow was organised by the Multi-Agency Public Education and Communications Workgroup on Scams and was led by the Singapore Police Force’s Scam Public Education Office, with the support of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Monetary Authority of Singapore, in partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC).
The Roadshow also featured partners such as the Central Provident Fund Board, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and the Government Technology Agency of Singapore.
Industry partners included the Association of Banks in Singapore, Google, Virage and Aidha, with guest stage segments from InTune Music, ACT3 and Bamboo Builders, among others.
Visitors were treated to fun activities aimed at deepening their awareness of scams. Through interactive exhibits, mini-games and performances, the Roadshow highlighted the scam scourge and provided up-to-date protective measures that the public can adopt.
Cyber Crime Prevention Ambassadors of the NCPC also shared how visitors can employ the full range of ScamShield anti-scam tools, such as app features that allow users to block and detect scam messages.
Visitors also learnt about the scam landscape, how to spot scam red flags and the negative consequences of money mule offences. Another highlight was the Scammers’ Den, an immersive theatre that provides first-hand insight into how scammers prey on our human vulnerabilities.
In all, around 15,000 members of the public joined in the activities over the two-day Roadshow. Together, we can “ACT” against scams and build a safer Singapore for all!
