The National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) is a youth uniformed group in Singapore. Established in 1959, the NPCC is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Singapore Police Force. Cadet Inspectors (CI) & Honorary Officers (HO) are appointed through the Home Team Corps Act. They are part of the National Police Cadet Corp (NPCC) volunteer scheme.

Entry Requirements
NPCC Cadets who meet the following requirements may apply through their Officer-in-Charge of NPCC unit:
S/N | Entry Requirements | Remarks |
1 | Eligibility | NPCC cadets who have graduated from their secondary school and been admitted to a Post-Secondary Educational Institution. They are required to hold a minimum rank of Staff Sergeant. |

Entry Requirements

2 | Nationality | Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident |
3 | Education Qualification | Minimum 'A' levels or Diploma |
4 | Others | An applicant must be recommended by the OC Unit (NPCC) or Staff Officer (NPCC HQ). An exception is made for applicants from NTU and NUS who join through the open units. The OC Unit or the Staff Officer (NPCC HQ) must be able to ensure that the HO has a role to play at the unit or HQ. Before any applicant is approved, a place of attachment must be identified. They would be appointed as HOs after the successful completion of the Officer Basic Training Course and Head HR, NPCC HQ, would decide their postings. |
