International Public Transport Security Conference 2026

The Singapore Police Force is hosting the inaugural International Public Transport Security Conference (iPTSC) 2026 from 12 to 13 February 2026 at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay. Mr Goh Pei Ming, Minister of State (MOS) for Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, is the Guest-of-Honour for the event.

The conference brings together more than 200 delegates from overseas and local law enforcement agencies, academia and public transport operators. Under the theme “Innovation and Partnerships for Safer Journeys”, it provides a platform for the public transport community to exchange best practices and discuss emerging security threats affecting the public land transport network.

MOS Goh officiated the opening ceremony earlier today. In his address, he emphasised the importance of leveraging innovation and strengthening partnerships among law enforcement agencies, public transport stakeholders and the wider community as key measures in tackling an evolving security landscape.

Throughout the two-day conference, distinguished speakers from both foreign and local law enforcement agencies, academia, and public transport operators will share their expertise on combating crime and terrorism, crisis preparedness, partnerships, protective security, and the use of technology and innovation to enhance security.

On 13 February 2026, a ground deployment exercise will be conducted at BMT @ Pasir Ris . The exercise demonstrates the operational readiness of SPF’s Public Transport Security Command officers, in collaboration with officers from Bedok Police Division, and public transport operators in responding to security incidents, and demonstrates Singapore's commitment to maintaining high standards of public transport security.
