The Police have arrested a 47-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of Rash Act.

On 23 May 2023 at about 8.47pm, the Police received a call for assistance at Blk 458 Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4 where a man had thrown a plastic plate from his residential unit at the said block. Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him.

The man will be charged in court on 25 May 2023 for rash act, punishable under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to six months, a fine of up to $2,500, or both.

The Police have zero tolerance against acts that endanger the lives or safety of others and will not hesitate to take action against those who blatantly disregard the law.
