The 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue will be held in Singapore from 30 May to 1 June 2025 at Shangri-La Singapore, with the Reception and Dinner on 31 May 2025 at The St. Regis Singapore.
As part of security operations, the Police will be conducting security checks on vehicles in the vicinity of Shangri-La Singapore and The St. Regis Singapore during the event period. The public is advised to comply strictly with the instructions of the Police and any non-compliance will be dealt with firmly in accordance with the law.
Traffic and parking arrangements for Shangri-La Dialogue at Shangri-La Singapore from 29 May to 1 June 2025
Motorists are advised to avoid the surrounding roads of Shangri-La Singapore, including Anderson Road and Orange Grove Road, and to plan their journey by taking the following alternative routes:
(a)Use Scotts Road if proceeding to:
- Stevens Road from Tanglin Road; or
- Orchard Road from Stevens Road; or
- Balmoral Road from Tanglin Road; and
(b) Use Draycott Park or Draycott Drive if going to Ardmore Park i.e., no through road between Ardmore Park lamp post 8 and Anderson Road from 11.00 pm on Thursday, 29 May 2025 to 5.00 pm on Sunday, 1 June 2025.
In addition, entry for commercial vehicles (vehicle registration plates starting with “G”, “W”, “X” or “Y”) into Anderson Road will be restricted.
As parking within Shangri-La Singapore will be limited, hotel guests are advised to take public transport or plan for alternative transport arrangements, including taxis and ride-hailing services. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking illegally or causing obstruction will be towed.

Traffic and parking arrangements for the Dinner at The St. Regis Singapore on 31 May 2025
To facilitate the Reception and Dinner at The St. Regis Singapore on 31 May 2025, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated period:
During the period of road closures, access will only be granted to authorised vehicles as well as police and emergency vehicles. Police Officers and Auxiliary Police Officers will be deployed along the affected roads and lanes to assist and direct motorists.
Traffic delays are expected along Tanglin Road, Cuscaden Road, Tomlinson Road and Orchard Boulevard. Motorists are advised to plan their routes early and avoid these roads. Members of the public travelling to these affected areas are strongly encouraged to use public transport.
Similarly, motorists proceeding to Orchard Road via Cuscaden Road or Tomlinson Road are advised to use alternative routes via Grange Road followed by Paterson Hill towards Paterson Road.

Temporary Restricted Areas over Shangri-La Singapore and The St. Regis Singapore
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) will be establishing two Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs) (see Annex A). One will be over Shangri-La Singapore from 30 May 2025, Friday, to 1 June 2025, Sunday, during the following periods:
The other TRA is over The St. Regis Singapore, on 31 May 2025, Saturday, from 6 pm to 11 pm.
During the above-stated dates and timings, the conduct of aerial and unmanned aircraft activities within and into the TRAs is prohibited and is an offence under the Air Navigation Order (ANO) and the Air Navigation (101 – Unmanned Aircraft Operations) Regulations 2019 (ANR-101) respectively. The penalty upon conviction for the offence under the ANO is a fine of up to S$20,000 for the first offence, and a fine of up to S$40,000 or imprisonment of up to 15 months, or both, for the second and subsequent offence. The penalty upon conviction for the offence under the ANR-101 is a fine of up to S$50,000 or imprisonment of up to two years, or both, for the first offence, and a fine of up to S$100,000 or imprisonment of up to five years, or both, for the second and subsequent offence.
