Happy 60th birthday, Singapore!

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th National Day, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) held its annual National Day Observance Ceremony on 8 August 2025 at the Home Team Academy (HTA). The ceremony brought together over 500 officers from SPF units in a moving display of national unity and spirit.
Among the many enthusiastic participants at this year’s ceremony were cadets from the National Police Cadet Corps as well as officers representing the various Police vocations. The SPF Band lent a festive air to the ceremony, with a number of stirring performances of National Day favourites.
The ceremony began with officers standing as one to sing the National Anthem and recite the National Pledge, reaffirming our steadfast commitment to Singapore’s continued progress and security.
The good vibes continued with a rousing multicultural dance performance that showcased Singapore’s diversity and harmony.
The highlight of the ceremony was the traditional cake-cutting ceremony. This served as a symbol of our nation's journey and achievements through six decades of independence.
The ceremony culminated in a stirring performance by members of the SPF Band, which brought officers to their feet with the singing of our cherished community songs. Majulah Singapura! Happy National Day, Singapore!
