The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for his suspected involvement in the murder of a 46-year-old man.

On 14 July 2021 at about 3.00pm, the Police were alerted to a stabbing case at a residential unit along Sumang Walk. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man with multiple wounds, lying motionless outside the residential unit. The 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at scene. Preliminary investigations revealed that both men are known to each other.

The 43-year-old man will be charged in court on 16 July 2021 with murder, under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code. The offence of murder carries the death penalty. Police investigations are ongoing.
