Man Arrested For A Series Of Theft Cases

The Police have arrested a 36-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a series of theft cases.

On 17 May 2022, the Police received multiple reports from victims that their items such as electronics, bank cards and cash were stolen from their office located along Kallang Road.

Through investigations, officers from Central Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 21 May 2022.

The man will be charged in court on 23 May 2022 with theft in dwelling, punishable under Section 380 of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to seven years and a fine.
