The Police have arrested four men, aged between 23 and 24, for their suspected involvement in a case of affray.

On 21 August 2023 at 1.44am, the Police were alerted to a case of fight along Geylang Road. Through ground enquires and with the aid of images from CCTV and Police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identities of the parties involved and arrested them on 23 August 2023. Preliminary investigations revealed that, a 23-year-old man together with two other men, aged 23 and 24, allegedly confronted another 23-year-old man whom he had a previous dispute with. During the confrontation, a fight broke out between them and two men suffered minor injuries.

The four men will be charged in court on 24 August 2023 with an offence of affray under Section 267A of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to one year, a fine of up to $5,000, or both
