The Police have arrested a 49-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of cheating.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Jurong Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man is believed to be involved in several other cheating cases involving more than $8,100.

The man will be charged in court on 12 October 2021 with cheating under Section 420 of the Penal Code, which is punishable with an imprisonment term that may extend to 10 years, and a fine.
