Public Transport

Personal Vehicles, Taxis & Private Hire Vehicles

If you are driving or riding a personal vehicle, or commuting by taxi or private hire vehicle, no parking is allowed within TP. Please park your vehicle at any public car park nearby before proceeding to TP.

 

 

Our Counter Operating Hours

 

At Traffic Police, we provide a wide range of services for members of the public over the counters. However, for added convenience to the public, some of these services are also made available online via SPF e-Services. To save time, you may wish to use the e-Services instead of coming down to TP.

 

If you are visiting the Traffic Police for our counter services, you should:

  • Obtain a ‘Queue Ticket’ at the reception area; and

  • Proceed to the allocated ‘Waiting Area’ and wait patiently for your number to be called.

8:30am – 5:30pm (Weekdays)
8:30am – 1.00pm (Saturdays)

Q-Tickets Issuing Hours for Front Lobby Counter Services

Peak Hours: 10.30am – 3.30pm (Expected Waiting Time: 60 – 90 minutes)

To provide feedback on illegal parking matters, you can:

With effect from 1 November 2010, the administration and enforcement of illegal parking have been transferred to LTA.

Make an Appeal against Traffic Summons(es)

To make an appeal against your traffic summons, please use our online Traffic eAppeals Portal. Click HERE.

With effect from 1 November 2016, members of public who wish to submit an appeal against their outstanding traffic offences will be required to do so online via our Police e-Services.

Report a Traffic Violation

To report a traffic violation committed by another motorist, please use the following dedicated channels:

Lodging of a police report (NP299) at any Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) or Neighbourhood Police Post (NPP)

A report is required to be lodged via any of these 3 channels so that an Investigation Officer can be assigned to conduct proper investigations. To lodge this report, you are strongly encouraged to use our online e-Services for your convenience.
