Statement For Incident At 756 Upper Serangoon Road

On 26 October 2025 at about 12.20pm, the Police received a call for assistance at 756 Upper Serangoon Road.

Upon the Police’s arrival, a 44-year-old woman who had allegedly attacked two other women with a knife was detained by members of the public. She was subsequently arrested by the Police for voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapon, and will also be referred for psychiatric assessment under Section 7(1) of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008. Preliminary investigations revealed that the 44-year-old woman had acted alone.

The two women, aged 36 and 44, who sustained injuries during the attack, were conveyed conscious to the hospital. A knife was seized as case exhibit.

Police investigations are ongoing.
