National SaferSG Awards Ceremony 2025

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) held the inaugural National SaferSG Awards Ceremony on 5 December 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Mr Goh Pei Ming, Minister of State (MOS), Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, was the Guest-of-Honour at the event and delivered the opening address. More than 600 people, including SPF volunteers, their family and friends, were present. This event recognised outstanding SPF volunteers and partners for their contributions in keeping Singapore safe and secure. Please refer to Annex A for the event photographs.

The awards ceremony recognised the recipients of the Outstanding SaferSG Volunteer Award (OSVA), Outstanding SaferSG Partner Award (OSPA) and Workplace on Watch (WoW) tokens of appreciation. A total of 177 OSVA, 40 OSPA and five WoW tokens of appreciation were presented to SPF volunteers and partners. The OSVA recipients included volunteers from the Citizens on Patrol, Crime Prevention Ambassadors, National Police Cadet Corps, Victim Care Cadre Programme, Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC), VSC (Community), and Honorary VSC (School) schemes. Contributing through diverse roles across these programmes, the volunteers have dedicated their time and effort to advancing the ‘SaferSG, Together’ movement and helping to keep Singapore safe.

The OSPA is presented to organisations in recognition of their strong partnerships and close collaboration with the SPF. This award is a higher tier to recognise organisations that have collaborated closely with the SPF to promote safety and security within their networks and premises.

MOS Goh also presented tokens of appreciation to five organisations involved in the pilot phase of the WoW programme. This new programme, under the ‘SaferSG, Together’ movement, is designed to empower organisations to play an active role in crime prevention and promote safety awareness among their employees and stakeholders. Please refer to Media Factsheet for more details on the programme.

For individuals who are keen to volunteer with the SPF, they can sign up under the schemes such as the Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC), Volunteer Special Constabulary (Community) (VSCC), Citizens on Patrol (COP), Crime Prevention Ambassadors (CPA) or Episodic Volunteering Programme (EVP). Members of the public can visit the ‘SaferSG, Together’ web portal at https://go.gov.sg/safersg for more information.
