There will be a change of command at Clementi Police Division on 4 June 2026.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC) Yue Kah Keong Allan (余家强) will assume command of Clementi Police Division on 8 June 2026. He takes over from Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SAC) Serene Chiu Lee Ling (周利玲), who will assume the appointment of Commander of the Traffic Police on 8 June 2026.
AC Allan Yue, 41, joined the Singapore Police Force (SPF) in 2009. He has served 17 years with the SPF and has held several key appointments including Deputy Director (Operations & Development) of the Police Intelligence Department, Deputy Commander of Ang Mo Kio Police Division, and Deputy Director (Regulatory Operations and Policy) of the Joint Operations Group in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
SAC Serene Chiu, 51, who was appointed Commander of Clementi Police Division on 29 August 2022, joined the SPF in 1999. In her 27 years with the SPF, she has held several key appointments including Director of the Public Affairs Department, Deputy Commander of Tanglin Police Division, Deputy Director (Resource Management) of the Planning & Organisation Department, and Deputy Director of the Homefront Security Division in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Under SAC Chiu’s command, Clementi Police Division has built a strong tradition of organisational excellence, consistently delivered results and attained podium finishes in the ‘Best Land Division Competition’ every year from 2022 to 2026. Her leadership was instrumental in resolving several high-profile cases, including the successful joint operation and arrest of foreign syndicate members involved in a series of house-breaking cases at private residential estates in the vicinity of the Rail Corridor and Holland Road in 2024 and 2025.
SAC Chiu also strengthened the Division’s outreach through innovative crime prevention initiatives such as the #YouthAgainstScams video competition which empowers youths to fight scams through creative social media content as well as the launch of the Shop Theft Awareness for Retailers (STAR) programme designed to equip retailers with effective theft prevention strategies.
During her tenure, SAC Chiu also successfully led her officers in deployments for several major security operations such as the General Election 2025, Presidential Election 2023, National Day Parade and National Awards Investiture. She has significantly strengthened the Division's operational readiness for public security incidents through exercises conducted in partnership with stakeholders from Sentosa Island, Jurong Island and the National University of Singapore.
Reflecting on her tenure as Commander of Clementi Police Division, SAC Chiu said, “It has been my privilege to serve alongside the men and women of the Clementi Police Division. The Division’s achievements and organisational excellence are not the result of chance, but of the dedication, professionalism and teamwork demonstrated by every officer. I remain deeply humbled and inspired by their daily acts of service, courage and compassion in safeguarding Singapore and caring for the community. The unwavering support, camaraderie and strong esprit de corps within the Division have made this command journey both meaningful and memorable, and I will greatly miss serving alongside them. I am equally grateful for the steadfast support of our volunteers and community partners, whose trust, commitment and close collaboration have been invaluable in our shared mission to keep Singapore safe and secure.”
