Director of Public Affairs Department, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SAC) Tan Tin Wee received the Charity Platinum Award on behalf of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) from Minister for Social and Family Development, Second Minister for Health & Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, at the annual Community Chest Awards Ceremony (CCA) 2024 on 7 October 2024.
In FY2023, the SPF raised approximately $677,316 for the Community Chest and received both the Charity Platinum Award and the SHARE Platinum Award. The Charity Platinum Award is the highest accolade presented to the organisations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the Community Chest, including direct donations, funds raised from events, and contributions from SHARE - the Community Chest’s monthly giving program. The SHARE Award recognises organisations with a high participation rate in the SHARE program among their employees.
This year, the SPF Band made their debut at the CCA ceremony, enchanting the audience with a delightful 20-minute performance.
A heartfelt thank you to all the officers who supported the SHARE programme and the various fundraising activities for the Community Chest! Your efforts have truly made a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in Singapore, and we look forward to your continued support.
