With nearly three decades of dedicated service, SI Jeff Lim exemplifies what it means to be a Police officer—leading by example, mentoring the next generation, and giving back to communities both at home and abroad.

Station Inspector (SI) Jeff Lim joined the Singapore Police Force in 1997 and went on to serve as a Watch Team Patrol Officer in Geylang Police Division from 1998 to 2000. Subsequently, he went on to be a Ground Response Officer in Ang Mo Kio Police Division – where he served as a first responder to ground emergencies.
He is now an experienced frontline officer, leading as a Deputy Team Leader in Yishun Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) where he supports his Team Leader in overseeing the daily frontline operations. As the second-in-command of the team, he shapes the next generation of officers, fostering a culture of proactive policing and meaningful community engagement to build trust and confidence in SPF.
Beyond his core policing duties, SI Jeff also volunteers with other officers in Ang Mo Kio Police Division, giving back to the communities across Asia. After the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal, members of Hasta La Vista, made up of current and former Police officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division, purchased and delivered daily necessities for over 120 families who were affected by the disaster. After the trip to Nepal, Hasta La Vista continues to expand their volunteering efforts to orphanages and nursing homes.
SI Jeff believes that being a Police officer is more than just a job. "It's about serving justice, protecting the vulnerable, and making a difference in our community every single day."
