Police have arrested a 49-year-old man suspected to be involved in a case of housebreaking of a clinic in Toa Payoh.
2 On 20 January 2015 at about 2.30 am, Police were informed that a clinic at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh had been broken into. Medication amounting to $3,735 were reported to be stolen from the clinic.
3 Following the report, officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and arrested the suspect at about 5.30pm on the same day.
4 The suspect will be charged in Court on 22 January 2015 for the offence of Housebreaking and Theft by Night under Section 457 of the Penal Code, which carries an imprisonment term of up to 14 years.
