Four Teenagers Under Investigations For Suspected Involvement In Rash Act Cases

The Police are investigating four 13-year-old teenagers for their suspected involvement in two cases of rash acts.

On 19 December 2025 at about 12.15am, the Police were alerted of an incident at the park connectors near Punggol Waterway Point, where a plastic bag filled with a clear liquid and an empty plastic bottle were thrown by the group of teenagers towards members of the public. In a separate incident on 22 December 2025 at about 12.20am, the Police came across several traffic cones placed across three lanes at Punggol Drive in a manner which obstructed vehicular traffic.

Through follow-up investigations, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division have established the identities of four teenagers believed to be involved in the incidents. The four teenagers are currently assisting with Police investigations.

The offence of rash act under Section 336(a) of the Penal Code 1871 carries an imprisonment term of up to six months and a fine.

The Police take a serious view of acts that endanger life or personal safety. We will spare no effort to apprehend such offenders and deal with them in accordance with the law.
