The Singapore Police Force (SPF) Police Community Roadshow (PCR) 2025 has returned to two heartland locations this year – Woodlands and Bedok. The PCR 2025 aims to reinforce the importance of community support and partnership in keeping Singapore safe and secure, while offering an opportunity for members of the public to get a closer look at Police work.
Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, launched the 'SaferSG, Together' movement at the community roadshow today at the open field beside Causeway Point.
The 'SaferSG, Together' campaign is a national movement to mobilise the community in partnering the SPF to make Singapore safer together, with a focus on strengthening collaborations and partnerships in four key areas: Crime Prevention, Scam Education, Road Safety Education and Emergency Preparedness. The ‘SaferSG, Together’ movement provides clear calls to action for individuals and organisations on how they can be a SaferSG partner.
At the individual level, the simplest way to partner the SPF is by staying informed of the latest crime information, alerts and advisories. This can be achieved by signing up for the Community Watch Scheme and/or downloading the Police@SG app to receive alerts and advisories. The community can take part in SPF programmes and events, or step up to volunteer with the SPF to play a more active role in keeping their community and Singapore safe.
Organisations can also play an active role in enhancing the safety and security of their staff and premises by becoming SaferSG partners. Through participation in the Workplace on Watch programme, organisations receive the latest crime information, alerts and advisories from the Police. The information can be disseminated to employees and stakeholders to strengthen awareness of prevailing crime trends and security developments. Organisations can facilitate sharing sessions by the Police during their events. The community can get more information through the ‘SaferSG, Together’ web portal (https://www.police.gov.sg/Community-Engagement/SaferSG-Together), which went live today.
In addition, this year’s roadshow features the latest technologies and equipment used by the SPF to keep our community safe and secure, including various types of weaponry and Police vehicles. Visitors can also catch live demonstrations of Police operational capabilities, enjoy performances by the Police band and meet the Police K-9 unit. In addition, members of the public can try out two anti-scam Virtual Reality games developed by the Police in collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic, available exclusively at this weekend’s roadshow. Children can also participate in a range of engaging activities, including Police-themed bouncy castles, a dedicated colouring station, and interactive storytelling sessions featuring Police Pal.
The PCR 2025 at the open field beside Causeway Point will be held from 29 to 30 November 2025. It will then move to Heartbeat@Bedok the following weekend, from 6 to 7 December 2025. For more information on PCR 2025, members of the public can visit https://www.police.gov.sg/roadshow or scan the QR code in the poster (refer to Annex A).
