In the lead up to the National Day Parade 2023, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting operational exercises on 17 and 26 July 2023 at the National Gallery Singapore.

To facilitate the exercises, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic on 17 and 26 July 2023 from 1am to 5am:

1. Parliament Place (between Supreme Court Lane and St Andrew’s Road)
   
   
2. St Andrew’s Road (between Parliament Place and Coleman Street)
   
   
3. Connaught Drive

During the closure, access will only be granted to Police and emergency vehicles. Security officers will be deployed at the affected junction to assist and/or direct motorists.

To facilitate the conduct of the exercises, cordons will be set up and “Exercise-in-progress” signages will be placed around the exercise areas.
